LED Guide

The SkyBell's LED color shows the status of the device. Click on the links below to identify this status.

Red / Green (alternating flash)

The SkyBell device is in Wi-Fi synchronization ready mode. Please follow the Wi-Fi syncing instructions in the SkyBell app to configure the SkyBell to connect to your home Wi-Fi network.

Note: If the SkyBell was accidentally placed into Sync mode, the operation will automatically cancel after 15 minutes, and the SkyBell will reconnect to your Wi-Fi network if it was previously configured.

Red Blue (alternating flash)

The device is in charge. Battery charging will be completed within 10-30 mins.

Blue / Green (alternating flash)

Successfully connected to the home Wi-Fi, and awaiting SkyBell server connection.

Blue Yellow (alternating flash)

Firmware update. Device is currently updating the firmware. This process may take 3 minutes to complete.

Blue (rapid flash)

Device is performing a Power Reset. Perform a Power Reset by holding the button until the device flashes blue (about 50 seconds).

Yellow (rapid flash)

The SkyBell is performing a factory reset.  Device is erasing all user settings & information, returning the device to factory defaults. To perform a factory reset, hold the button down until it flashes yellow (about 10 seconds after it flashes blue).

Orange (rapid flash)

Awaiting Wi-Fi connection or Wi-Fi connection has been lost or SkyBell failed to connect to the router.  During the syncing process, SkyBell will flash orange when connecting to your Home Wi-Fi network.

Red (rapid flash)

The SkyBell is not receiving sufficient power. This indication is typical of a failing transformer.

Green (rapid flash)

The SkyBell entering Sync mode.

Yellow (solid)

The SkyBell is currently powering up.

Green (solid)

The SkyBell is operational.

White (solid)

The SkyBell is In-call mode.
